What is Exerpad?

Exerpad is a free coding education platform designed for students. It offers interactive lessons and hands-on coding exercises that you complete directly in your browser — no setup required.

What programming languages are available?

Exerpad currently teaches Python, JavaScript, and Rust. Each language has its own structured curriculum organized into milestones and chapters that guide you from beginner to more advanced topics.

Is Exerpad free?

Yes! Exerpad is completely free to use. All lessons, exercises, and features are available at no cost.

Do I need an account?

No. You can start learning and completing exercises without creating an account. However, signing up lets you save your progress to the cloud so it syncs across devices and is never lost.

How is my progress saved?

Your progress is stored locally in your browser. If you create an account and sign in, your progress is also synced to the cloud so you can pick up where you left off on any device.

How does the XP / leveling system work?

You earn XP (experience points) by completing exercises. As you accumulate XP, you level up and unlock new titles. The system is designed to keep you motivated as you progress through the curriculum.

What are streaks?

A streak tracks how many consecutive days you’ve completed at least one exercise. Keeping your streak alive is a great way to build a consistent coding habit.

How do I reset my password?

On the login page, click “Forgot password?” and enter your email address. You’ll receive a link to set a new password.
